Lumdia
Terms of Sale
These terms apply when you enquire about or purchase Lūm products from Lumdia. They are intended to comply with EU consumer protection rules for distance sales. Details such as registered address and VAT ID will be updated when available.
Last updated: 4 September 2026
1. Seller
Products are offered by Lumdia (“Seller”).
Contact: infolumdia@gmail.com
Company registration and VAT details will be published here when available.
Address details to be published.
2. Products
We sell decorative lighting and related accessories as described on this website. Product images are for illustration; colour, texture, and finish may vary slightly due to materials and lighting. Spec sheets and “what’s included” information on product pages form part of the product description.
Configured lamps (colour, model, bulb) are assembled according to your selection. Please check your configuration before ordering.
3. Prices
Prices are shown in euro (EUR) and apply for customers in the EU and worldwide unless we state otherwise. Displayed prices are the same EUR list prices for all regions.
Where required by law, VAT will be shown at checkout or on your invoice once online payment is enabled. Until then, enquiries are confirmed individually by email.
We may correct obvious pricing errors and will notify you before charging.
4. Orders and contract
While checkout is enquiry-based, submitting an enquiry does not create a binding purchase until we confirm availability, price, shipping, and accept your order in writing (email). When online checkout is enabled, the contract is formed when payment is successfully completed and you receive an order confirmation.
5. Payment
Accepted payment methods will be shown at checkout (or agreed by email for enquiries). Payment is due as stated for each order.
6. Delivery
Delivery terms are set out in our Shipping Policy. In short: shipping within the EU is covered by Lumdia as described there; for deliveries outside the EU, you are responsible for import duties, taxes, and customs clearance charges.
7. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA buying at a distance, you generally have 14 days from receiving the goods to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason, subject to the exceptions in the Consumer Rights Directive.
Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from the right of withdrawal. Configured Lūm lamps may fall into this category; we will confirm your rights for each order. See our Returns Policy for how to exercise withdrawal where it applies.
8. Defects and legal guarantee
EU consumers benefit from the statutory guarantee for lack of conformity (typically two years from delivery under EU rules, implemented in national law). Contact us promptly if a product is faulty or does not match the description.
9. Electrical and safety
Use products only as intended and with compatible bulbs/power as specified. Ensure local voltage and plug standards are suitable for your country. Follow any safety instructions supplied with the product.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Otherwise, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order, to the extent permitted by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union member state in which Lumdia is established (to be confirmed when registration details are published), without affecting mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence in the EU/EEA.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
